Midwest Emergency Services provides education and training to emergency physicians to reinforce documentation guidelines for accurate coding, resulting in maximum reimbursement.

Additionally, monthly reports are distributed to physicians indicating any deficiencies and reasoning of down-coding.  Incomplete charts will be returned to physicians to complete the documentation requirements and to allow for accurate coding sets to be assigned.

Your physicians will receive direct, personalized training for:

• Accurate and complete documentation of records
• Reporting physician services in a teaching environment utilizing residents
• Evaluation and Management (E/M) guidelines

The coding experts at Midwest are also available to discuss and clarify any documentation issues as they occur, so you are always informed.
